Diaphragm

In aviation, the diaphragm refers to a flexible membrane that separates the fuel and air in a carburetor or fuel injection system. It is responsible for regulating the amount of fuel that enters the engine, based on the amount of air that is flowing through the system. The diaphragm is typically made of rubber or other flexible materials, and is designed to be responsive to changes in air pressure and flow. It is an important component of the engine's fuel system, and must be maintained and replaced as needed to ensure proper engine performance.
