Air Service Agreements
Air Service Agreements (ASAs) are bilateral or multilateral agreements between countries that govern the operation of air services between those countries. These agreements define the rights and obligations of each country's airlines with respect to routes, capacity, frequency, pricing, and other commercial aspects of air services. ASAs also cover safety and security standards, customs and immigration procedures, and other regulatory issues. ASAs are essential for the development of international air transport, as they provide a legal framework for airlines to operate flights between countries. Without ASAs, airlines would not be able to operate international flights, and the growth of global air travel would be severely limited.
