E-ticket
An electronic ticket, or e-ticket, is an electronic document that contains the itinerary of a passenger and is used for ticketing in the airline industry. E-tickets have replaced traditional paper tickets and are stored in the airline's computer system. They are issued to passengers after they have purchased their tickets and can be printed out or displayed on a mobile device. E-tickets have made the ticketing process more efficient and convenient for both passengers and airlines, as they eliminate the need for physical tickets and reduce the risk of lost or stolen tickets.
