Emergency

Emergency in aviation refers to a situation that poses an immediate threat to the safety of an aircraft and its occupants. Emergencies can be categorized as either 'normal' or 'abnormal'. Normal emergencies are those that are anticipated and for which procedures are in place to handle them, such as engine failure during takeoff. Abnormal emergencies are those that are unexpected and require immediate action, such as a fire on board or loss of cabin pressure. Pilots are trained to handle emergencies through rigorous simulator training and must follow strict protocols to ensure the safety of all on board.
