Explosive Trace Detection Equipment

Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) Equipment is a security technology used to detect the presence of explosive materials on surfaces, objects, and people. ETD Equipment works by collecting and analyzing samples from the surface of an object or person using various methods such as swabbing, wiping, or air sampling. The collected sample is then analyzed using a variety of techniques such as ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, or Raman spectroscopy. ETD Equipment is commonly used in aviation security to screen passengers, baggage, cargo, and aircraft for the presence of explosive materials.
