Flight Numbers

Flight numbers are a combination of letters and/or numbers used to identify a specific flight. They are assigned by airlines and are used for various purposes such as flight planning, ticketing, and tracking. Flight numbers typically consist of two parts: the airline code and the flight number. The airline code is a two or three-letter code assigned by the International Air transport Association (IATA) to identify the airline operating the flight. The flight number is a unique number assigned by the airline to identify a specific flight. Flight numbers are displayed on boarding passes, flight schedules, and airport screens.
