Hazardous Weather Conditions

Hazardous weather conditions refer to any atmospheric conditions that may pose a threat to aviation safety. These conditions include but are not limited to thunderstorms, icing, turbulence, low visibility, and strong winds. Pilots are required to obtain weather information prior to flight and to continuously monitor weather conditions throughout the flight. In the event of hazardous weather conditions, pilots must take appropriate action to avoid or mitigate the effects of the weather. This may include altering the flight path, changing altitude, or diverting to an alternate airport.
