Laminar Flow Control Technology

Laminar Flow Control Technology is a technique used in aviation to reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency by maintaining a smooth, uninterrupted flow of air over the surface of an aircraft's wings. This is achieved by using a system of suction panels on the wing's surface to remove turbulent air and maintain a laminar flow of air. The technology is particularly useful for reducing fuel consumption and increasing range on long-haul flights. However, it requires complex and expensive systems to be installed on the aircraft, and can be sensitive to environmental factors such as rain and ice.
