Air Traffic Control Centers
Air Traffic Control Centers (ATCC) are facilities responsible for controlling the movement of aircraft in a particular region of airspace. ATCCs use radar and other technologies to monitor the location, altitude, and speed of aircraft within their designated airspace. They communicate with pilots to provide instructions and ensure safe separation between aircraft. ATCCs also coordinate with other ATCCs to manage the flow of air traffic between regions. These facilities are staffed by highly trained air traffic controllers who must be able to make quick decisions and communicate effectively under high-pressure situations.
