Airplane Mode
Airplane mode is a setting available on most smartphones, laptops, and other electronic devices that disables the device's wireless communication abilities. When airplane mode is turned on, the device is effectively disconnected from the internet and all wireless signals, including cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. This mode is required to be turned on during flights to prevent interference with the airplane's communication and navigation systems. However, some airlines now offer in-flight Wi-Fi, which allows passengers to connect to the internet using the airplane's own wireless network. In such cases, airplane mode can be turned off, but cellular and voice communication is still prohibited.
