Clearance Authorization
Clearance Authorization is the permission granted by Air Traffic Control (ATC) to an aircraft to proceed under specified conditions within controlled airspace. It includes the route to be followed, altitude, and any other instructions that the pilot must comply with. The clearance authorization is given to ensure the safe and efficient flow of air traffic. The pilot must read back the clearance authorization to the controller to confirm that it has been correctly understood and will be followed. Failure to comply with the clearance authorization may result in a violation of aviation regulations and compromise the safety of the flight.
