Codesharing
Codesharing is a practice in the aviation industry where two or more airlines share the same flight. This means that one airline operates the flight, but other airlines can sell tickets for the same flight under their own name and flight number. The purpose of codesharing is to increase the number of destinations that an airline can offer its passengers without having to operate all the flights themselves. It also allows airlines to offer more frequent flights to popular destinations by pooling their resources. Codesharing agreements can be beneficial for both airlines and passengers, as they can lead to increased revenue and more travel options.
