Data Acquisition Systems
Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) are electronic systems that collect and record data from various sensors and instruments on an aircraft. The data collected can include flight parameters such as altitude, airspeed, and heading, as well as engine performance data and other critical information. DAS can be used for real-time monitoring of aircraft systems, as well as for post-flight analysis and maintenance. They are essential for flight testing, research and development, and safety investigations. DAS typically consist of sensors, signal conditioning equipment, data converters, and a computer or other data storage device.
