Yellow Chevrons

Yellow Chevrons are markings on the engine cowling of an aircraft that indicate the location of the engine exhaust. These markings are used to ensure the safety of ground personnel working around the aircraft. The chevrons are angled in a way that directs the exhaust away from the fuselage and towards the ground, reducing the risk of damage to the aircraft and injury to personnel. The use of yellow chevrons is mandatory for all commercial aviation aircraft and is regulated by aviation authorities around the world.
