Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting refers to the lighting system installed in an aircraft to provide illumination in case of an emergency or power failure. The emergency lighting system includes floor proximity lighting, escape path lighting, and emergency exit signs. Floor proximity lighting helps passengers to locate emergency exits and move towards them safely. Escape path lighting illuminates the escape routes and helps passengers to evacuate the aircraft quickly. Emergency exit signs indicate the location of emergency exits and provide guidance to passengers during an emergency. The emergency lighting system is powered by backup batteries that can last for at least 15 minutes.
