Estimated Time En Route (ETE) is the calculated duration of time that an aircraft will take to fly from its present position to its destination, taking into account the aircraft's current speed, wind conditions, and other factors that may affect the flight. ETE is an important parameter used in flight planning and navigation, as it helps pilots to determine the fuel required for the flight, the optimal altitude and speed, and the expected time of arrival at the destination. ETE is constantly updated during the flight, based on the actual ground speed and wind conditions encountered by the aircraft.
