Fatigue

Fatigue is a state of physical or mental exhaustion that can affect a pilot's ability to perform their duties safely. In aviation, fatigue can be caused by a variety of factors, including long duty periods, lack of sleep, and irregular work schedules. Fatigue can impair a pilot's ability to make decisions, react quickly, and maintain situational awareness, which can increase the risk of accidents. To prevent fatigue, aviation organizations have implemented regulations and guidelines that limit the number of hours a pilot can work and require rest periods between flights. Additionally, pilots are encouraged to maintain healthy sleep habits and to report any symptoms of fatigue to their supervisors.
