Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM)


A Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM) is a document developed by the aircraft manufacturer that contains the information required by the flight crew to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently. The FCOM includes information on normal and abnormal procedures, performance limitations, weight and balance, systems descriptions, and other important information. The FCOM is specific to each aircraft type and is approved by the aviation regulatory authority. It is a legal document and must be carried on board the aircraft at all times.
