Ground Controllers
Ground Controllers are personnel responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the ground at an airport. They are responsible for directing aircraft to and from parking spots, taxiways, and runways, and ensuring that they follow the correct path and avoid collisions with other aircraft, vehicles, and obstacles. Ground controllers communicate with pilots using radio communication and visual signals, and use radar and other equipment to monitor aircraft movements. They also coordinate with other airport personnel, such as air traffic controllers, ramp agents, and maintenance crews, to ensure that aircraft operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
