Hazardous Material

Hazardous Material, also known as HazMat, refers to any substance or material that poses a risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. In aviation, hazardous materials can include explosives, flammable gases and liquids, toxic substances, and radioactive materials. The transportation of hazardous materials is strictly regulated by international and national organizations, such as the International Air transport Association (IATA) and the International civil aviation organization (ICAO), to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and the environment. Proper labeling, packaging, and handling procedures must be followed when transporting hazardous materials by air.
