Head-Up Display
Head-Up Display (HUD) is a transparent display that presents flight information in the pilot's line of sight, allowing them to keep their eyes focused on the outside world while still receiving critical flight data. The HUD projects information such as airspeed, altitude, heading, and navigation onto a transparent screen in front of the pilot, allowing them to maintain situational awareness without having to look down at the instrument panel. HUDs are commonly used in military and commercial aircraft, and have been shown to improve safety and reduce pilot workload.
