Hose And Drogue

Hose and drogue is a system used for aerial refueling of aircraft. It involves a flexible hose that trails from the tanker aircraft with a basket or drogue at the end. The receiving aircraft then extends a probe, which is inserted into the drogue to establish a connection. Fuel is then transferred from the tanker to the receiver through the hose. This system is commonly used by military aircraft and allows for extended range and endurance of aircraft during missions.
