Hydration

Hydration in aviation refers to the process of maintaining adequate fluid balance in the body during flight. Due to the low humidity levels in the cabin, dehydration can occur quickly, leading to symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, and decreased cognitive function. Pilots and cabin crew are trained to monitor their hydration levels and consume enough fluids to prevent dehydration. Passengers are also encouraged to drink water regularly during the flight to stay hydrated. In addition, airlines provide water and other beverages to passengers throughout the flight to ensure they have access to fluids.
