Maintenance Facilities
Maintenance facilities refer to the physical locations where aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities are carried out. These facilities are equipped with specialized tools, equipment, and personnel to ensure that aircraft are maintained in airworthy condition and comply with regulatory requirements. Maintenance facilities can be owned and operated by airlines, maintenance and repair organizations (MROs), or other third-party service providers. They can range from small, single-bay hangars to large, multi-bay facilities capable of accommodating multiple aircraft at once. Maintenance facilities can also be categorized based on the type of maintenance they perform, such as line maintenance, base maintenance, or heavy maintenance.
