Marketing Carrier
Marketing Carrier is an airline that markets and sells flights operated by another airline under its own brand name. The marketing carrier does not operate the flight but instead, it enters into a commercial agreement with the operating carrier to sell tickets on its behalf. The operating carrier is responsible for providing the aircraft, crew, and ground handling services. The marketing carrier earns a commission on the ticket sales and is responsible for marketing, advertising, and promoting the flight. This arrangement is also known as codesharing.
