Medical Evacuation
Medical Evacuation, also known as Medevac, is the process of transporting injured or sick people from one location to another for medical treatment. In aviation, Medevac is typically carried out by specially equipped aircraft, such as helicopters or fixed-wing planes, that are staffed with medical personnel and equipped with medical equipment. Medevac missions can be performed in emergency situations, such as natural disasters or military conflicts, or in non-emergency situations, such as transporting patients between hospitals. The goal of Medevac is to provide timely and efficient medical care to those in need, and to transport them safely to the appropriate medical facility.
