Medical Issues

Medical issues refer to any physical or mental condition that may affect a pilot's ability to safely operate an aircraft. These issues can range from minor illnesses such as a cold or allergies to more serious conditions such as heart disease or mental health disorders. Pilots are required to undergo regular medical examinations to ensure that they are fit to fly and do not pose a risk to themselves or others. The Federal aviation administration (FAA) sets the standards for medical certification of pilots, and pilots must meet these standards in order to maintain their license to fly.
