Obstacles

In aviation, obstacles refer to any natural or man-made object that can pose a potential hazard to aircraft during takeoff, landing, or flight. These can include buildings, towers, trees, mountains, power lines, and other structures. Obstacles are a significant concern for pilots and air traffic controllers, as they can affect the safety and efficiency of flight operations. To mitigate the risks associated with obstacles, airports and flight paths are designed to avoid or minimize their impact. Additionally, aircraft are equipped with obstacle detection and avoidance systems, such as radar and terrain warning systems, to help pilots identify and avoid potential hazards.
