Registration

Registration is the process of assigning a unique alphanumeric code to an aircraft by the national aviation authority of the country in which the aircraft is registered. This code is commonly referred to as the aircraft registration number or tail number. The registration number is displayed prominently on the aircraft and is used for identification purposes in air traffic control, aircraft maintenance, and legal matters. The registration process also involves verifying the ownership and airworthiness of the aircraft, and ensuring that it meets the national and international regulations and standards for aviation safety.
