
Rigid Boom System
Rigid Boom System is a type of aerial refueling system used in aviation. It consists of a rigid pipe that extends from the tanker aircraft and a drogue at the end of the pipe. The receiving aircraft has a probe that is inserted into the drogue, allowing fuel to be transferred from the tanker to the receiver. The rigid boom system is known for its high fuel transfer rate and is commonly used by military aircraft for mid-air refueling.
