Sectional Charts
Sectional charts are a type of aeronautical chart used by pilots for navigation during VFR (Visual Flight Rules) operations in the United States. They provide detailed information about topography, airspace, airports, navigational aids, and other important features for flight planning and in-flight navigation. Sectional charts are updated every six months to ensure that pilots have the most current information available. They are printed on a scale of 1:500,000, which means that one inch on the chart represents approximately eight miles on the ground.
