Structural Changes

Structural changes in aviation refer to any modifications made to the physical structure of an aircraft, including its airframe, wings, engines, and other components. These changes can be made for a variety of reasons, such as improving performance, increasing fuel efficiency, or enhancing safety. Structural changes may also be necessary to comply with new regulations or to adapt an aircraft for a specific mission or environment. Examples of structural changes include winglets, which are small, upturned extensions on the tips of wings that reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency, and engine upgrades, which can increase power and reduce emissions. Structural changes must be carefully designed, tested, and certified to ensure that they do not compromise the safety or performance of the aircraft.
