Temperature Regulation
Temperature regulation in aviation refers to the process of maintaining a comfortable temperature inside the aircraft cabin for passengers and crew. This is achieved through the use of environmental control systems (ECS) that regulate the temperature, humidity, and air circulation inside the cabin. The ECS draws in outside air, filters it, and then heats or cools it as required. The temperature inside the cabin is monitored and controlled by a thermostat, which adjusts the temperature by regulating the flow of hot or cold air. Temperature regulation is important for passenger comfort and safety, as extreme temperatures can cause discomfort, dehydration, and even hypothermia or hyperthermia in some cases.
