Towbar

A towbar is a device used for towing aircraft on the ground. It is a rigid metal bar that attaches to the nose landing gear of the aircraft and is connected to a tow vehicle or tug. Towbars come in different sizes and shapes to fit different types of aircraft. They are designed to withstand the weight and forces of the aircraft during towing operations. Towbars are an essential tool for ground handling operations, allowing aircraft to be moved around the airport without the need for engine power. However, proper training and procedures must be followed to ensure safe and efficient use of towbars.
