Upset Prevention And Recovery Training (UPRT)

Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) is a type of aviation training that teaches pilots how to recognize, prevent, and recover from aircraft upsets. An aircraft upset is a dangerous situation in which an aircraft is no longer in stable flight and may be in a dangerous attitude, such as a steep bank, pitch, or roll. UPRT is designed to help pilots develop the skills and knowledge necessary to avoid and recover from these situations. The training typically includes both theoretical and practical components, including classroom instruction, simulator training, and in-flight training. UPRT is an important part of pilot training, as it helps to improve aviation safety and reduce the risk of accidents.
