Water Landing

Water landing is a controlled emergency landing on water, typically performed by an aircraft when it is unable to reach a suitable airport due to technical or other reasons. Water landing can be either planned or unplanned. In a planned water landing, the aircraft is specifically designed to land on water, such as a seaplane or amphibious aircraft. In an unplanned water landing, the pilot must use their skills to land the aircraft on water in an emergency situation.
