ACMI
ACMI stands for Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance. It is a type of aircraft leasing arrangement where the lessor provides the lessee with the aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance. The lessee is responsible for the fuel, airport fees, and other operational expenses. ACMI leasing is commonly used by airlines to meet short-term capacity needs, such as during peak travel seasons or when an aircraft is out of service for maintenance. It allows airlines to quickly add capacity without committing to a long-term lease or purchasing an aircraft. ACMI leasing is also used by cargo airlines to transport goods on behalf of other airlines or logistics companies.
