Actual Time Of Arrival
Actual Time of Arrival (ATA) is the precise time at which an aircraft arrives and reaches its final parking position at the destination airport. It is recorded by the pilot and communicated to the air traffic control tower. ATA is an important metric for airlines and airports as it helps them to manage their operations efficiently. It is used to calculate the on-time performance of airlines and to monitor the efficiency of airport ground handling services. ATA is also used to calculate the turnaround time of an aircraft, which is the time taken by an aircraft to complete its arrival process, unload passengers and cargo, refuel, and prepare for its next departure.
