Airborne Distance
Airborne distance refers to the distance covered by an aircraft while it is in the air. This distance is calculated from the moment the aircraft takes off to the moment it lands. It includes the distance flown in a straight line as well as any additional distance flown due to deviations from the planned flight path. Airborne distance is an important metric for pilots and air traffic controllers as it helps them to plan flight routes, estimate fuel consumption, and calculate flight times. It is also used to determine the efficiency of an aircraft and its engines.
