Autopilot Systems
Autopilot systems are electronic systems that control an aircraft's flight without constant input from the pilot. These systems use a combination of sensors, computers, and actuators to automatically control the aircraft's altitude, heading, and airspeed. Autopilot systems can be programmed to follow a specific flight plan, maintain a certain altitude or airspeed, and even perform complex maneuvers such as takeoff and landing. They are designed to reduce pilot workload and increase safety by allowing pilots to focus on other tasks such as communication and navigation. However, pilots must still monitor the autopilot system and be prepared to take control of the aircraft in case of an emergency.
