Bird Control
Bird Control refers to the measures taken to prevent birds from colliding with aircraft, causing damage to the aircraft and endangering the lives of passengers and crew. Bird strikes can occur during takeoff or landing, or during flight, and can cause significant damage to the aircraft's engines, wings, and other critical components. Bird control measures include habitat modification, such as removing food sources and nesting sites, as well as the use of visual and auditory deterrents, such as scarecrows and loud noises. Airports also use trained falcons and other birds of prey to scare away birds from the airport. Additionally, airports may use pyrotechnics and other non-lethal methods to disperse birds from the airport vicinity.
