Cockpit Door

A cockpit door is a reinforced door with security features designed to prevent unauthorized access to the cockpit of an aircraft. Cockpit doors are an important safety feature that helps to protect the flight crew from potential threats, such as hijackings or terrorist attacks. Following the September 11 attacks, cockpit doors were required to be strengthened and locked during flight to prevent unauthorized access. The door is usually made of bullet-resistant material and is equipped with a peephole or a camera to allow the flight crew to see who is outside. The cockpit door can be opened from the inside by the flight crew, but it can only be opened from the outside with a special code or key.
