Collective Bargaining

Collective bargaining is the process of negotiation between employers and employees, usually represented by a union, to determine the conditions of employment, such as wages, hours, and working conditions. In the aviation industry, collective bargaining is particularly important for pilots, flight attendants, and other airline employees who are unionized. The collective bargaining agreement (CBA) outlines the terms and conditions of employment, including pay rates, work schedules, and benefits. CBAs also typically include provisions for dispute resolution and grievance procedures. The negotiation process can be complex and may involve mediation or arbitration if the parties are unable to reach an agreement.
