Obstacle

In aviation, an obstacle is any object, structure, or terrain that may pose a hazard to aircraft operations. Obstacles can include buildings, towers, trees, hills, mountains, and other natural or man-made features. Obstacles are a significant concern during takeoff, landing, and low-altitude flight, as they can impede the aircraft's path and cause a collision. Obstacle clearance requirements are established by aviation authorities to ensure that aircraft can safely navigate around obstacles during all phases of flight.
