Cruising Speed

Cruising speed is the speed at which an aircraft is flown once it has reached its cruising altitude where the air is less dense. It is the most fuel-efficient speed for the aircraft and is usually determined by the aircraft manufacturer. Cruising speed varies depending on the type of aircraft, its weight, and the weather conditions. It is typically measured in knots or miles per hour (mph). Pilots adjust the cruising speed based on the wind direction and speed to optimize fuel consumption and flight time.
