Dry Leasing
Dry leasing is a practice in the aviation industry where an aircraft leasing company provides an aircraft without any crew, maintenance, insurance, or supporting equipment to the lessee. The lessee is responsible for all operational aspects of the aircraft, including maintenance, crewing, and fuel. Dry leasing is a popular option for airlines and other aviation companies that want to expand their fleet without the capital investment required to purchase an aircraft outright. It allows them to operate the aircraft under their own brand and control, while the lessor retains ownership of the asset.
