Duty Of Care
Duty of Care is the legal obligation of airlines and aviation personnel to take reasonable measures to ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and cargo during air transportation. This includes providing a safe and secure environment, maintaining equipment and facilities, and ensuring that all personnel are properly trained and qualified. Duty of Care also extends to the provision of medical care and assistance in the event of an emergency or illness during a flight. Airlines and aviation personnel must exercise their Duty of Care at all times, and failure to do so can result in legal liability and financial penalties.
