Investigations
Investigations in aviation refer to the process of examining and analyzing an aviation incident or accident to determine its cause or causes. This process involves gathering and analyzing data, interviewing witnesses and involved parties, and reviewing relevant documentation. The goal of an aviation investigation is to identify the contributing factors that led to the incident or accident, and to make recommendations to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Investigations are typically conducted by government agencies such as the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in the United States, or the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) in the United Kingdom.
