Isolation
Isolation in aviation refers to the process of separating an aircraft or a group of people from the rest of the airport or aircraft due to the presence of a contagious disease or a hazardous material. Isolation can be done in a designated area of the airport or on the aircraft itself. The purpose of isolation is to prevent the spread of the disease or hazardous material to other passengers, crew members, or airport personnel. Isolation procedures are usually carried out by trained medical personnel and airport authorities. In some cases, isolation may also refer to the process of separating an aircraft from external factors such as electromagnetic interference or radio signals.
