Magnetic North Pole

Magnetic North Pole is the point on the surface of the Northern Hemisphere where the geomagnetic field lines are directed vertically downwards. It is the point towards which the north end of a compass needle points. The magnetic north pole is not fixed and moves over time due to changes in the Earth's magnetic field. In aviation, magnetic north is used as a reference for navigation and is essential for accurate flight planning and execution. Pilots use magnetic compasses to determine their heading and make adjustments for magnetic variation, which is the difference between true north and magnetic north at a particular location.
